STARTING USE
To make a water connection, you may either contact the waterworks and tell them when you want to start using water and your user number, or send to the waterworks the postcard attached to your tap, filled in with your details.
DISCONTINUING USE
Please give three days notice prior to moving.
RATES
The water meter is read bimonthly and you are billed accordingly. Sewerage charges are calculated according to the amount of water used, and the charges are included in your water bill.
PAYMENT
You can pay
1. In person by taking the bill to the waterworks company, bank or post office
2. Through an automatic deduction from your bank or postal account
3. Directly to your real estate agent, depending upon your rental situation
